උතුම් කඨින පුන්ය මහෝත්සවය 2022
Our KATINA CEREMONY this year was successfully held on SUNDAY 9 OCTOBER at the Bletchley Youth Centre. Katina Ceremony this year, along with Vas aradhana and other meritorious activities has been sponsored by Dr. Nanda and Mrs. Swarna De Silva and family.
Much merits to all concerned in making this event a success.
Katina Day Programme
(Light refreshments will be available in the morning)
8 -10 am Preparation
10 am Perahera bringing in the Sacred Relics and the Katina Cheevara
11 am Lighting the Oil Lamp, Pansil and offering of Dana.
1 pm Katina Cheevara Perahera
1.30 pm Donation of robes to resident monks, Dedicating Katina Robe, Kap Rukha Puja, offering gifts followed by Anushasana.
2.00 pm Conduct of the Vinaya Kamma by the Maha Sangha.
2.30 pm Devotees offering Atapirikara and Cheevara.
2.45 pm Seth Pirith
3.00 pm Vote of Thanks
3.15 pm Dana for Devotees
4.30 pm Cleaning and tidying.
5.30 pm End of Programme
