Dear meritorious Daham Pasala children and parents,

We hope you all had a good summer holiday. We starts our new academic year Sunday Dhamma School (Daham Pasala session) on Sunday 10th September at 4.30PM.

For New Student Registeration, please send your email address and we will send you the registration form.

Looking forward to see you all on Sunday 10th September at the Dhamma School (Daham Pasala).

Please do the following:

1. Watch this short video, which tells the story about Veluka Jataka (Rejecting Advice from Others)

2. For homework, children should write short essay, a drawing, or a video in which they present what they learnt from the story verbally and visually.

Completed homework should be emailed to miltonkeynesvihara@gmail.com by 3pm on the day of the next lesson.
As always, we encourage parents to support the children by discussing the lessons and to keep practising their daily observance of taking the 3 refuges, and 5 precepts, and paying homage to the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha. Please let us know if you need a copy of the chanting book to help with this.

The next Daham Pasala session will take place on 10 September 2023 at 4:30pm, at the Vihara and online.

Our classes are a combination of children attending the Vihara and those joining online. Lessons will be in groups according to age. If joining online, we would kindly request you to name the zoom link with the child’s name and age to help grouping.

4.30-4.50: Pansil and venerating the Noble Triple Gem.

4.50 – 5.30: Lessons in groups, according to age

5.30 – 5.45: Bhavana and Offering Merits (all groups together, led by Hamuduruwo)

5.45: Refreshments

Please join promptly by 4.30pm, ideally wearing dhamma school uniform or at least a white top, and having with you a writing book and a pen.
