DESCRIPTION:Remembering Dr Ajit de Silva\nආචාර්ය අජිත් ද සිල්වා මහත්මාණන් අනුස්මරණ පිංකම\nදුල්ලභෝ පුරිසා ජඤ්‌ඤෝ – න සෝ සබ්බත්ථ ජායතී. \nඋත්තම පුද්ගලයන් දුර්ලභය. සෑම කල්හී සෑම තැනම නූපදී. \nDullabho purisājañño – na so sabbattha jāyati. \nNoble people is rare and does not born everywhere. \nසාතිශය සංවේගයෙන් දැනුම් දීමයි! \nNotice with Deepest Sympathies!\nIt is with our Deepest Sympathies and Heaviest Hard\, I like to share a very sad news of our Dr Ajit de Silva passed away peacefully on Tuesday 20th February 2024 at his residence. \nOn behalf of the Milton Keynes Vihara community we would like to express our deepest condolences to the family of Dr Ajit de Silva on the sad news of his death.\nMay he attain Supreme Bliss of Nibbana!\nIt was a very difficult time for all of us to come to the acceptance of this big loss. Therefore we all needed bit of time to respect the wishes of Dr Ajit de Silva and Family. Therefore we are sorry for this late message. \nDr. de Silva was a driving force and source of great inspiration for the establishment and maintenance of the Milton Keynes Vihara\, making immeasurable contributions to our work. We would like to demonstrate our gratitude to him and his family by organising a Dhamma Sermon for the whole community\, which will also be an opportunity for us to remember the positive impact he had on our lives and to share merits with him. \nThe memorial Dhamma sermon will take place on Saturday\, 2nd March at the Summerlin Centre in Woburn Sands (MK17 8SG)\, starting at 6pm. \nThe funeral arrangements have been made for Monday\, 11th March at the Crownhill Crematorium in Milton Keynes (MK8 0AH)\, starting at 3:30pm. \nAll are welcome to join these events to remember and share merits with Dr. Ajit de Silva. \nඅචින්ති තම්පි භවති – චින්ති තම්පි විනස්සති. \nසිතන දෙය සිදු නොවිය හැකය. නොසිතු දෙය සිදුවිය හැකිය. \nඅනිච්චා වත සංඛාරා\nඋප්පාද වය ධම්මිනෝ\nඋප්පජ්ජිත්වා නිරුජ්ඣන්ති\nතේසං වුප සමො සුඛො \nසියළු සංස්කාරයෝ (හේතු වලින් හට ගන්නා සියළු දෙය) වෙනස් වේ (අනිත්‍යය).\nඒ සියල්ල ඇති වෙනවා සේවා ම නැතිවීමද ධර්මතාවයකි.\nමෙම ඉපදීම නැතිවීම ස්වාභාවයෙන් මිදීම උසස්ම සැපතකි.\nනිවන් සුවය යනු ඒ පරම සැපතයි. \nඅප මිල්ටන් කීන්ස් විහාරස්ථානයේ ආරම්භයේ සිටම වර්ථාමාන දියුණුව පිණිස ඉමහත් කැපවීමෙන් කටයුතු කළ \nආචාර්ය අජිත් ද සිල්වා මහතාමාණන්ට නිවන් සුව අත්වේවා!\n“Acintitampi bhavati – cintitampi vinassati”. \nUnexpected things may happen.
